Planning your website

Week 1: Set the direction.

We clarify the audience, goals, page structure, key messages, and design direction. Your team provides business knowledge, brand material, and the content available to work with.

Weeks 2-3: Design the experience.

We design the pages around the agreed content and brand. You review the work at agreed milestones, and we work through the feedback before development starts.

Weeks 4-5: Build and refine.

We build on the agreed platform, add the content, and connect the CMS, forms, and integrations in scope. We test across screen sizes and browsers, then share the site for review.

Week 6: Launch and hand over.

We run the final checks, connect the domain, and publish the approved website. Your team receives the access, training, and guidance to manage it after launch.

Agree the dependencies before committing to a date.

The standard timeline depends on timely content, access, feedback, and approval. Larger websites receive a custom timeline or phased launch. We agree those details before kickoff.

  • Nominate one main contact for consolidated feedback.
  • Identify content and access that are still missing.
  • Confirm who can approve the final website and domain changes.
